Troop 88 provides an active educational program for boys and girls to build character, to learn and practice leadership, foster citizenship, and to develop lifetime skills through an outdoors based program.
How Scouting Benefits the Youth
Scouting uses a unique "Patrol Method" that places the responsibility of leadership on the scouts themselves. This provides a safe environment for them to:
Build Confidence: By overcoming challenges in the outdoors and mastering new skills.
Develop Leadership: Through holding troop offices and leading peer groups in activities and service projects.
